 Our hearts welcome you.
As members, we are here to provide positive grief resolution after the death of a child.
We welcome parents, family members and friends who are seeking support in this most difficult of times.

We are sorry for the reason you need us, but glad that you found us.

The Mission of The Compassionate Friends:

When a child dies, at any age, the family
suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends
provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother
or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others
better assist the grieving family.

The Vision Statement of The Compassionate Friends:

That everyone who needs us will find us, and everyone who finds us will be helped.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is an international organization with over 600 local chapters across the United States.
It was founded in Coventry, England, in 1969, by Rev. Simon Stephens. When two young boys died within days of
each other, Rev. Stephens brought the parents of these children together in hopes they could best support and
understand each other through this painful loss. TCF's longevity is a testament to this form of parents helping parents.
